Asian American and Pacific Islander May 2024
National Arab Heritage Month was recognized and celebrated in the United States to honor the contributions, culture and history of the achievements of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. The celebration abbreviated as AAPI provides the opportunity to recognize how diverse the experiences of the lives of Asian Americans and diverse and rich the culture of AAPI’s have held. The initial date in which the AAPI Heritage month became established was during 1992.

Mental Health Awareness Month
May 1-31st
During the month of May is Mental Health Awareness month. Which emphasizes its significance and provides an opportunity to educate and challenge misconceptions regarding mental health. Mental Health Awareness month helps to shed light on mental health, as well as understanding how overlooked and misunderstood the challenge of mental health could be.
